Genoa Keawe joins her mentor, John Kameaaloha Almeida, and a studio announcer, to invite you to the annual Aloha Week celebration in Hawaii. "Aloha Week" was begun in 1946, and has grown to the month long celebration of "Aloha Festivals" celebrated on every island. Johnny Almeida can be heard chanting the opening of his own composition, "Panini Pua Kea", and after the announcer finishes, Genoa Keawe performs the mele of the same piece.

Sol "Sonny" Kamahele was a "Territorial Airwaves" interview guest on 1420 AM KCCN on 12-11-1996. Sonny's distinctive rhythm guitar was a fixture on many Hawaiian recordings through the 1950s and 1960s. Sonny, his lifelong pal Benny Kalama, and Alan Akaka, were the resident house band for the long running series of "Territorial Airwaves" remote broadcasts in the 1980s and 1990s.

Keola is a driving force in the Hawaiian language program at the University of Hawaii at Hilo headed by Larry Lindsey Kimura. Keola collaborated with Harry B. on the John Kamealoha Almeida CD project, with was nominated by the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts at their annual Na Hoku Hano Hano Awards Show.
